Aftercare is an afternoon programme offered to families who would like their children to wait at school until 5pm due to work commitments. Families who have older children doing extra mural activities and would like younger children to remain at school during this period can also make use of Aftercare.
Being an extension of the school day, the same approach to learning and relating applies. The atmosphere is nurturing, the teachers are relationally present and living ideas are brought forward through exploration and play. One can expect time for outdoor play, quiet rest and peaceful activities.
There are three termly options depending on what time your child finishes school:
- Option A – Pre School & Grade R (12.30 – 5.00pm) R4 513 per term
- Option B – Gr 1-2 (1.30 – 5.00pm) R3 563 per term
- Option C – Gr 3-6 (2.20 – 5.00pm) R2 613 per term
Aftercare will run from Monday through to Friday.
Ad-hoc Bookings:
Should you wish to make use of ad hoc days during the term, there is a flat rate of R95 per day, payable via Snap Scan or by EFT. The full fee applies regardless of the amount of time spent in Aftercare.
Children will be granted admittance depending on the amount of children booked in for the requested day, and therefore, will not be guaranteed a space.
Commitment:
By committing to a termly booking, you are responsible to pay the full term fee regardless of absence or cancellation ie. should you book for the whole term but wish to cancel midterm, you would still be liable to pay for the whole term. Termly bookings are to be made prior to the start of the term.
Should you fail to fetch your child timeously at 5.00pm after Aftercare, an additional levy of R30 per 15 minutes you are late will be charged.
